Olive wood is very hard and is prized for its durability, color, high combustion temperature and interesting grain patterns. As with all linear-grained woods, olive wood is prone to crack when in block form. We try our best to discard any blocks with any cracks, but depending on your climate, humidity, and weather conditions, we cannot guarantee that blocks will not crack once they start to acclimate in your shop. Best to leave them wrapped in paper until they are used
